COB 300 is a semester-long course that integrates Finance, marketing, management, and operations where you create a business plan for a new product idea. My team and I were selected to compete in the top 5 teams out of the original 120 in the Rainey Shepard business competition. Our team, M&T, won 3rd place and was also awarded the “Joyce Guthrie Team Award” as well as the “Accenture Award” for having the best product idea. I worked majorly on the marketing aspect of the plan. Here you can read and learn more about our product!
Social Media Work Experience
Throughout the past few years, I have had the opportunity to create advertisements and social media posts for real estate agents. Listed above are some examples of the work I have completed. Throughout my experience at JMU, I've had the chance to utilize Canva in different classes, enabling me to apply the knowledge I gained directly towards the creation of social media content. Doing social media for real estate agents inspired me to the point where I've decided to pursue my own real estate license. I am currently in the process of obtaining my NJ real estate license through an online program, with hopes of having it by summer 2024!
